Work has started on the water walk in Wennigsen in northern Germany.
ZWDP has had initial discussions with the first phase looking to update 6 water walk stations that already exist. A further 15 stations will be installed to create a single loop with a series of smaller walks focused on themes.
A key aspect of the project is to engage local schools and their education for sustainable development to connect classroom based learning with the local ecosystems.
