The Zero Water Day Partnership runs education and learning programmes based on the < Water Partnership Ambassadors Programme > for primary and secondary schools.
The programme adopts a whole schools, whole community approach which links schools education for sustainable development with local government climate action and sustainability strategies and programmes.
Zero Water Day Partnership is working with schools around the world to roll out the Water Partnership Ambassadors Programme, build water walks and signposts, and support participation in international initiatives for example the ZWDP session for UN International Year of Glaciers Preservation.
Strathallen School, Scotland
Strathallan Prep School’s Eco-Council were invited to present their ideas, solutions and environmental actions this morning at COP 28’s Youth Call to Action, this is their message… The Ocean is essential to our survival, yet we treat it with neglect. Pupils at our school are working hard to recognise and remedy this. After our pupils’ presentation, the organisers of the Youth Call to Action have requested to show ‘Our Ocean, Our Future’ in the main COP 28 Blue Zone event for world leaders and delegates to see. A huge thank you to our stars in Strathallan Prep School, to Miss Morris and to everyone who has supported ‘Bee the Change’ and the School’s environmental actions this year. ‘Our Ocean, Our Future’ was filmed, edited and produced by Dominic Glasgow.
