Schools prepare for the UN Water Conference side event, Wednesday 22nd March

Schools are preparing for the virtual side event ‘ The Voice of Children and Youth on Water for Sustainable Development < Taking Action for Humanity and the Planet < on Wednesday 22nd March 15.00 – 16.30 >>

One of the schools presenting will be Gunnison Middle School (GMS), Colorado USA, who have a webpage on all their projects and activities including the local community water walk and the pollinator garden. 

The image above shows the GMS Water Walk interpretive signs that guide visitors through the story of water in the Gunnison Valley while highlighting several of the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The GMS signs were designed and installed in 2022 by GMS 7th Graders with the support of Gunnison High School students and local partners.
